Apple has introduced the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, equipped with Apple Intelligence, larger displays, innovative pro camera features, stunning graphics for immersive gaming, and more — all powered by the A18 Pro chip. Apple Intelligence brings powerful, Apple-built generative models to iPhone through an easy-to-use personal intelligence system that understands personal context, delivering helpful and relevant information while safeguarding user privacy.
The new Camera Control feature offers a fast, intuitive way to utilize visual intelligence and seamlessly interact with the advanced camera system. These Pro models boast a new 48MP Fusion camera with a faster quad-pixel sensor, enabling 4K120 fps video recording in Dolby Vision — the highest resolution and frame-rate combination ever available on iPhone.
Additional advancements include a 48MP Ultra Wide camera for higher-resolution photography, including macro shots, and a 5x Telephoto camera on both Pro models. The studio-quality microphones record more realistic audio. The durable titanium design is both strong and lightweight, featuring larger displays, the thinnest borders ever seen on an Apple product, and significant improvements in battery life, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max offering the best battery life of any iPhone to date.
The standard version of the new Apple iPhones will be available in ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black, with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes.
The premium versions will come in black, white, silver, and desert colors, featuring larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens. The 6.9-inch display marks Apple’s largest-ever phone screen, surpassing the previous 6.7-inch size.
Visually, the devices will resemble previous iPhone models, with the iPhone 16 featuring a dual rear camera setup, while the Pro variant will have a triple rear camera configuration.
All models will introduce a new “capture” or “camera” button, which functions like a shutter button on a traditional camera, but with additional touch and swipe capabilities. The phones will also include a programmable action button, allowing users to quickly launch specific features.
